It depends on how bad the spot is, if it's not too bad it can be sanded and filled with body filler then painted but this is more for very light rust. If it's bad you're going to need to do some serious cutting and a welder. You can find some tutorials on how to fix very light rust spots on youtube that will walk you through what to do. Like this one.

It's about 3/4" wide by 3" or 4" long and is only just starting to pit the metal. I'm out there now with a 40 grit sandpaper block wishing my neighbors had a grinder. :lol: :roll:
