You'll need to add the games, but I can guide you through that via the Internet Archive collections. It's also possible to buy them preloaded from certain AliExpress sellers.

This differs from the above unit in that it doesn't have built-in games, but that is mostly a better choice all around since you can curate the collection yourself (also the above one doesn't have the ability to use a microSD card for additional games). Those preloaded ones are often filled with modified copies of the same game multiple times to inflate the number.

BUT it is much less money and effort to go with Lokey's recommendation.

I could be bias but i say get a guitar, or musical instrument a hobby plus a skill they can carry with them through life. It’s therapeutic, very fun to the right person, and a joy for others to watch them progress. A guitar, or small keyboard is what I would get my nephew if I thought up he had the attention span to appreciate it. Again not for everyone but can be an unforgettable gift for some I think.

i have been thinking about wishing i stuck with an instrument or took up a sport from way back then.. i didn't connect the two.

phil is an excellent swimmer, but right now he does it for fun.

i hated the swimming lessons at YMCA mainly cause taking off glasses yields no good vision... now with contacts, they shrivel up in the water or get washed outta my eyes. getting prescription goggles is on my bucket list. my parents both want to swim next door at the community center. now that covid has lessened, they may make good on it, i'd join.

i used to play piano, but just thought it was a drag... how much i wish i developed a real talent. and for third grade we all learned the flutophone, sixth the recorder and ukulele.. as an adult, i tried to pick up the violin, but shit's a lot harder when you're older and events in life prevented a good learning setting. Boo.
