My dead dog hanging out with me?

Ok, so Mei passed away mid January, days after Max, our kitty and we moved houses again. Then we put Levi down after a few months.
So there's a movie about a dog getting reincarnated with the goal to get back to the owner that needed help. Man, I hope that doesn't happen, it would be weird. I would like a newer dog so Mei can live in memory, and i'm sure we'll get together again... in fact...
I feel Mei's presence with me throughout the day like she's dancing around me and overall cheerful, and it affects my mood in a peppy way.
ok, just need assurance that i'm not crazy.

You aren't crazy. Just dealing with loss, which, when the beginning and end are such mysteries, it's hard to know everything is ok.
Conversation from the other day that is appropriate (sort of...) :
When my daughter was pre-school aged, we lived on a street called Mt.Erin. All three of us consider it the coolest time of all. Lots of fun. So my ex was talking to me the other day, kinda trying to get back together or whatever, and says "I miss Mt. Erin, we were so happy, do you think we could ever do that again?"
"No," I said, " but at least we got to experience it once, and what's more, we KNEW it was special even then. Lots of people spend their lives searching for something we already found. Most people never even GET a Mt. Erin."
Same for your pets. They were happy (I'm sure) and had a great life. You got to be with them and they got to be with you, and they left this world knowing they were loved. What more can you do as a human? Nothing. Isnt being loved all that we as creatures really WANT?
As gnarly and just plain fucked as it is, lots of animals are abused and/or tested on. I don't know that there is a way to change that except one animal at a time. That's why we have so many damned cats now, God keeps throwing them at me.
I'm sorry about your friends. As far as reincarnation, no way to know, but sitting here now, I would hope there is at least a little variety, not always the same species. Or, I hope I don't have to be a human any more. Once is plenty. I get it. Can I be a dragonfly or an eagle now please?
As the painter Paul Cézanne once said "There are many songs to be sung on the other side of humankind"
which I've always taken to mean the non-human side of humankind. Everything but us. Its hard to parse that, it just sounds nice and positive, which is why I included it. Also it makes me think of a bunch of gorillas sitting around a fire playing folk songs about how they are being oppressed and stuff. I'll stand with the gorillas if given a choice. The only reason they would kill me is to eat me. I'm ok with that.
My new catch phrase "I digress..."

Paul Cézanne once said "There are many songs to be sung on the other side of humankind" SWEET. I have a peppermint bottle painting in my room.
