All Oties Greens Review

I've updated my pastebin after more experience with Oties (all my reviews are in there BTW). Some reviews may have some personal bias given that I sometimes get head pressure side effects and am very sensitive to stimulation. I think I now have enough experience with them to post a review on here. The last review may not be very accurate cause I only used that one once.

* Color is tea color - not powder color and "filter pressure" is how hard it is to filter with an aeropress. Powder color is all very bright green. And the strength rating is relative to all kratom (except gas station), not only the small batch stuff. Lastly, my 5s are average - I don't do 6 or 7 as average like some people do. *

Green Dragon from Oties (8/10) - This stuff is fire. I made 12gpd today and it felt like 20gpd of all my usual strains. I even dumped out about 20% of it at the end of the day cause I had enough. So I had about 10g. In terms of effects, this feels very similar to canopy wild green (DON'T recommend anymore), but much stronger. It also seemed to last longer than most kratoms. However, it does seem to have a little bit of Mount Kratom Green MD effect. Meaning, it is a more sedative green strain; not that it lacks stimulation, but it is being buffered by something sedative. Sort of like taking a Green MD with a little bit of magnolia bark extract or maybe a small dose of a benzo. It's not too profoundly relaxing, but you can tell that it has something a little heavier in it. It gave me a fair amount of palpitations when it wore off. I kind of feel slightly dizzy on it, but it's still not impairing at all. Overall, pretty good.

UPDATE: After trying this for almost two weeks, it became clear to me that there is something subtle missing from the experience. It's hard to put a finger on cause it's not just the lower stimulation. I find myself eating a lot more sweets cause there is some itch that this is not scratching. I wonder if this difference is because it says it comes from Thailand instead of Indonesia. Maybe it lowers blood sugar too much; maybe it lowers serotonin; maybe it lacks an MAOI or does something to acetylcholine. To put it in perspective, this creates a warm glow inside and a painkilling effect, whereas most kratom gives warmth AND a prickly tingling feeling in the chest and spine. No prickles here :) For the first couple days, it felt amazing, but now it's clear there is something missing. Not that it lost potency. I think this would be good for someone simply looking for a natural painkiller and nothing more. It's still my best strain at the moment however and BETTER THAN MAINSTREAM KRATOM.

Color = greenish light brown tea turning opaque on cooling (my first tea that actually looked greenish after brewing and filtering)
Taste = the smoothest yet, not very bitter, not astringent, but still numbing - good
Filter pressure = easy, but used much less grams, so... Some gets through the filter cause the powder is so fine. This may have made the tea look dirtier than it even is.
Head pressure/side effects = maybe slightly dizzy, but no pressure
Strength rating = 10/10

Super Green from Oties (4/10) - This is pretty bland. I took the same dose as the dragon. I'd say it's more of just a mood enhancer than anything else. Contrary to what I've read, this is a less stimulating strain (at least compared to green dragon). It's hard to explain cause it doesn't have any sort of heaviness or benzo type feel like the dragon, it's just less stimmy. Adam, the owner said it was more relaxing, but the reviews seemed to mention a decent amount of stimulation. I agree with Adam. I tend to like more mellow kratoms, but this one is just a little lackluster. I would still give it a 6/10 with what I said so far, however, it's pretty astringent too. Having a sensitive gut, I've had pains from astringent strains before. This did not cause that yet, but it takes days before it happens and is clearly associated with the kratom cause the pains kick in right after dosing. I'm not saying this WILL cause gut distress, but I don't want to risk it.

Color = orange-blonde
Taste = very astringent/acidic, but not very bitter
Filter pressure = VERY easy
Head pressure/side effects = none, but astringency could be a real issue
Strength rating = 5/10

Super Green Maeng Da from Oties (7/10) - So far this feels similar to the super green except stronger and a bit more stimulating. This has a little less mitra than the super green, but still feels a bit stronger. The other alkaloids must be propping it up. I like it. Astringency could be a problem though. I think possibly a 50/50% combination of this with the dragon would be the best.

Color = greenish light brown
Taste = astringent, but not as bad as the super green
Filter pressure = easy
Head pressure/side effects = none
Strength rating = 8/10

Super Green Malay from Oties (5/10) - Really not a fan of this one. It makes me feel paradoxically relaxed and stimulated at the same time. Now normally, I would enjoy that, but in this case, it feels like there is a part of me that just can't get comfortable. I feel like I want to move and do something active, yet at the same time, just feel like sitting. It's like the effects are at war with themselves. There is also a little dissociative feeling in the head that is not enjoyable. It seems to take longer to kick in. During the first 40 mins or so, I thought wow, this is pretty weak, but it keeps building; and that's with a filtered tea which normally kicks in-in 15 mins.

Color = slight green opaque
Taste = second smoothest, little astringency
Filter pressure = easy
Head pressure/side effects = feels weird in my head, dizzy or dissociative
Strength rating = 7/10

A review of greens from Lucky's is coming!

Disregard the following message because all kratom powder (not leaf) is giving me side effects at the moment. I only stand by what I said above!

I'm back. I was wrong about the green dragon and now I regret getting a kg of it.
It makes me sleepy and my head feel heavy (and it's not that kind of painkiller sleepy - actual sleepy). At first, it didn't do that. It's the opposite to most kratom in that low doses are sedating and sleepy and high doses are more energizing. Normally, I take a low dose (like a couple grams) in the morning and then more in the evening and I found that this stuff makes me feel like going back to bed in the morning and makes me stimmed in the evening. But yeah, when I take more, I feel kind of dizzy.
It's not that bad though. I would recommend to someone who likes reds at night, but maybe they aren't quite strong enough.
