So last week I was forming what would be my third ever order from LH. I saw that they had the gummies as a separate category, and honestly I kind of just assumed they were essentially a thing much in line with CBD gummies. Now over the last couple years, the handful of times I've tried CBD stuff, I was severely disappointed each time, but what LH had here was so ridiculously cheap, I thought what the hell, I'll take another shot. I did read over a couple of the reviews the site had already, and people recommending cutting the dosage because they're really strong, etc, but I didn't take it TOO much to heart because I've heard the same said about CBD. The thing that's done hardly anything to me, no matter what dose.

It wasn't until the package arrived a few days ago that I started to look closer at it, and did more outside research on exactly what Delta 8 gummies are. I started to get excited that I just landed something at a great price and waaaay better than what I thought I was getting. I'm reading here and there that these things are much much closer to straight up THC than they are to CBD. Frankly proper edibles are something I'd been wanting to try for a long time, but I never had any place to get them. And I've only ever properly smoked pot maybe a dozen times in my life, the most recent of which was at least 3 years ago. Plus one of the things I was wondering now I was about to try it, is it better to do on an empty stomach or not, because I know that's a big help with kratom. I saw that you can, but it may hit you a lot harder and quicker than you'd like, so it's probably best to eat. On the site they recommend 1/5th of the gummie, since it's a square I tried my best to just cut it up into 4 equal parts. I finally took it, and hooooooly crap. It took about 2 hours for it to fully kick in, and I just couldn't believe my luck. Indeed, how I was feeling was incredibly close to how I remember feeling when I smoked. For these being more or less legal weed in a mouth bite, I'm still shocked they were as cheap as they were. It was 3 gummies for $7.99. For the times I've taken it after, I wound up indeed slicing off that 1/4th piece even a bit smaller. I've still got almost half of just that first gummie left, the other 2 still in their pouches.

You've got me wanting to try these now! Did you experience any sort of anxiety the few times you smoked, and if so, did you experience the same thing with these gummies? I've wanted to try Delta 8 as well but have had mixed luck with "standard" edibles. It's either been really great or mildly terrifying and never anything in between.

Yes. Two Hours!! this is true for ALL type of Cannabis edibles.. And, many people get a negative reaction to "Too Much Weed". . Even these Delta-8 products can raise heart rate, and cause Anxiety effects including psychotic feelings, dis-oriented, paranoia, etc. While heart is pounding and you're extremely stoned... Just a WARNING that Cannabis edibles are very, very, easy to overdose AND take 2 freakin' HOURS to hit - You could overdose and not even realize until you're driving 2 hours later then BOOM.

I've dabbled in a couple of Delta-8 gummies... Delta Alternatives is a top rated Delta-8 company. The "regular gummies" (Hemp Extract, many flavors.) got me really bombed - Like a Indica type, wasted, brain fogged, wiped-out feeling like I just wanna Lay down on the Couch.. Their Delta-8 Honey product I liked better, for some reason it was a lighter effect, more the happy weed type feeling. I don't know how they compare to Lucky's.

Of course, Lucky Herbals has some of the finest Kratom around ... So great they offer a variety of different product!!

No, I thankfully never really felt what I could classify as anxiety (or paranoia) either back when I smoked or from the gummies. I also never got the proverbial "munchies" feeling to an excessive degree when I smoked. Honestly one of the biggest things that it made me feel, I remember the very first time I was struck by how quickly DUMB it made me lol like I'd just be sitting there at my desk doing whatever, I'd go off on some train of thought in my mind, and if like at least a minute had passed, I'd suddenly realized I could not for the life of me remember the beginning of that thought. So I guess in this way I was totally the cliche. Also I just felt this very strong, but quiet, "buzzing" from my head, is the best way I can think to explain it. It was certainly an overall sensation that I enjoyed, but thing is with me I've suffered chronic pain for almost two decades and was on a regiment of RX pain meds for a long time. I've now been off them for over a year but NOT by my choice, by a very bizarre situation I had no control over (which is a whole other novel), and yeah while I liked the weed feeling, not only was it not the same nor as comforting to me as the opiates, but also for some reason the weed didn't actually directly hit my pain. It's kinda hard to explain, while I would say I felt "high", but I still had my pain, and when I knew that if the day came to it, going on solely medical marijuana would likely not be an answer for me.

oh and I should clarify, the taking 2 hours to kick in, but that was just the maximum affect. The entire 2 hours was a slow ramp up. I remember after about the first hour I considered taking a bit more of the gummie, but I thought nah, first time, play it extra safe and just give it more time. Sure enough, it went harder. It also seems to have helped me somewhat so far with my sleep. For years now I can rarely ever go more than 1.5-2 hours during the night w/o waking up to pee. For a long time I chalked it up purely to my pain meds, as I always knew a side affect of opiates was retention, but like I said I haven't had proper opiates for a good while now and it's still an issue. Granted, I'm in my mid 40's and sure I don't have the healthiest prostate, but anyway my point is I've had a couple stretches where I was able to sleep 3 or even 4 hours long before having to get up again.

I always enjoyed the perspective that weed gave me but as I got older the anxiety it brought on got worse and worse. When i first heard about Delta 8 I read that it was supposed to be all the good parts of THC without the anxiety so I thought great!

There is a cbd store near me that also has Delta 8 so i purchased some. I nearly had a full blown panic attack. If I hadnt read countless stories about people thinking they are dying from weed and going to hospital then I would have called an ambulance. It was probably the worst night of my life and I was essentially in the fetal position for 8 hours thinking i was going to die.

So if you have ever gotten paranoid or anxiety from THC I would advise extreme caution with Delta 8. Start with a very very very small dose and give it a few hours before you dose again!
