Gotta tell the truth - I was so looking forward to trying Blue Flame after seeing so many positive remarks here. Unfortunately it didn’t hit the two times I tried it. My first time trying yesterday, I took my normal dose of 7g, and didn’t feel a whole lot. Then today I took another 7g about 1.5 hours ago and the same thing - nada. But then I backed it up with 3g of Benni GMD and it kicked in. Not sure if it was the combo of both, but I’m feelin fine now!

Correction - I mistakenly said “Bennis GMD”
and meant to say “Okies GMD.”

this has happend to me expecting a good hit/burn from good leaf and nothing
even waiting 30-60 min then top it off with a small gram or two of other leaf and bam it hits
but was it the small dose your felling or the big dose just finnaly kicked in

Great point! Sometimes you never know with kratom. I’d tend to agree, but for me when I tried the flame for the first time yesterday, it didn’t quite hit then either. I was actually at work at the time and didn’t follow that burn up with a secondary kicker like I did today. I guess I’ll just have to try it again! And I have no problem with that…

I’ve tried the batch of Blue Flame I got a few months ago and got virtually nothing from it the first time and then completely nothing the next two times. But again, no batch numbers or dates so hard to know what one Is really getting from STH by the time the reviews are posted and up for little while.

I posted somewhere else the same thing, that it was underwhelming and I had high expectations from others' posts on here. At least i had a free sample. Of course I need to try it again as we all know results can change. After 2-1/2 years with no breaks I'm sure I have tolerance issues.

You can always scratch the "it's so great!!" or the "OMG THIS SLAPS!" comments and dig a little deeper to find out if the EFFECT is what you are looking for. The batches that tickle one person's mu receptors just perfect may be a total miss for you. Happened SO MANY TIMES to me. That's ok. That doesn't mean the other person is a shill (unless they are, that is, but not even the vendors shill around here, which is super awesome and the reviews are in a SEPARATE SPOT so conversations can't get steamrolled into shilling, and I think that was a little touch of genius, whomever thought that up.) We are all different, it's that simple I think. Good luck!!


Also, find people here who have a similar chemistry as you and see what THEY are talking about. Search your favorite strain. Go to the people that like it. See what else they like. Works EVERY TIME but unfortunately my person hasn't been around in a while (WHAT'S UP c_c!!) but I'm always on the lookout for similar! Hope this helps, it's exactly what I do.

I've had your experience many many times. Yes it's frustrating. I approach "dud" batches differently now. I know your normal dose is 7g. But since it's not working, why not try something different? Try 1g, then 2g, then 3g, & on up the chain to find out if it works at lower doses. I've had many, if not all, batches I knew were great but they stopped working for 6 months. When I dropped the dose they came back to life. It seems too large a dose is just as bad, if not more so, than too small.

I’ll definitely give that a try! That’s why I love this forum…
