So I have awful luck with reds. I’ve felt effects only from a very few strains, and those tended to be on the greener side. I chalked it up to body chemistry. Someone on the forums a while back said Fused Flora had especially great reds so I ordered various samples of them. I finally broke through! I have no idea how or why (the fickleness of kratom), but they were great. Bent Sunda, Red Sumatra and Red Kapuas all hit very well. The Red Maeng Da was awesome for daytime use.

The Super Red, though…outstanding! The mood lift was amazing. I wasn’t energized exactly, but I was so upbeat it motivated me to accomplish more. I felt much more sociable and less anxious or self conscious. The effects seemed similar to TFH’s hugely popular Lazy Sundae, to me at least, in the mood effects. I was afraid this would fade like other reds, but they’ve returned the same with every dose. To date this is the only strain I’ve EVER rushed to order more of, red or otherwise. And its not only reds, I sampled various other strains as well and they were stellar. The customer service lives up to its top notch reputation. And, local to me! A+!

TL;DR: for anyone else who prefers the mood boosting benefits you normally find in greens and whites, check out Super Red.

I'm glad you finally found some reds that hit well - and that one of them was as phenomenal as you say. There's nothing like finding the perfect one for you.

I was just wondering today if I had that one. I have almost all the Kapuas, it's a great strain. And like I've told you, its gold and yellow are my favorite of all its colors. So I got the rest, except white, I thought, but don't remember getting the Red. I'm definitely going back to check now though! I do have the Bent, but that's just not going to have the same mood boost. You might also want to try their Kali strain, it's almost as good I think. Hope they ferment some of its greens and whites to make a few more gold and yellow options!

I DID get the Yellow and Gold Kapuas! Haven’t opened the gold yet, but I gave the yellow a quick sample. I got a lot of sample bags and gave most a quick dose, going to give them a more thorough try.

Thanks for the review. Hopefully there is still some left. I like FF's Hirsuta, too.

We'll take a look at that. It's hard to get farmers to do it right, but we like our kali farmer a lot too.

I know you weren’t talking to me, but to give you an extra opinion… I thought it was pretty good. I can see why it was compared to lazy sundae, but it doesn’t come close to that legendary batch. It’s still a good red. 7/10

Thanks for the input! The only red I've tried from FF was the Red Vietnam which had no mood boost at all for me. Red Smile from STH on the other hand...
