Lucky Herbals 122820 Green Malay
Sorry for so many threads and single reviews, life has been a wild ride for me lately. Here is a review for Lucky's new batch of Green Malay!
Speed-Mid/mid-fast. This one is a good bit of energy, but not overwhelming. Its a touch faster than the other greens I have tried from Lucky recently.
Pain-8/10. Solid pain relief for my arthritic shoulder. I took it after the gym the other day and it helped my arthritic shoulder calm down from the workout, which is a huge win in my book!
Moodlift-8.5/10. My favorite category, and this excels in it! An enjoyable ride from start to finish, and kept me feeling upbeat and happy for the full duration of the burn. This one is on par with my experience with the MD (although its a different feeling. The difference in speed differentiated the type of moodlift for me), but not quite as overwhelming as the green hulu. However, still a top notch batch in this regard. I haven't had previous batches of his green malay, so I don't know how this one compares to previous ones, but this is a great ride from start to finish.
Anxiety Relief-7.5/10. Solid anxiety relief, but not quite as much as the other 2 strains I've previously mentioned. It definitely helped me here quite a lot, but not quite as calming as the hulu. Faster leaf typically doesn't help my anxiety as much as slower batches, but even with the energy this one still helped considerably. Not quite enough to squeeze out an 8, but don't sleep on it. Its still very therapeutic!
Legs-8/10. This one lasted the longest out of the new batches from Lucky, coming in at just shy of 2.5 hours for me which is great considering my tolerance and normal duration of burns. As I always say, your experience will likely vary from mine in terms of duration. My body just likes to process leaf through me quicker than most unfortunately.
Overall-8.25/10. This one is a great long lasting moodlift with enough anxiety relief to calm you down while being productive. It is pretty midspec teetering into faster territory, and great for productivity while keeping you in a good place. It's been awesome for my experience working retail and dealing with social anxiety (as well as keeping my spirits up while dealing with the rude public in the middle of a pandemic). All 3 tries for my have been pretty consistent. It is long lasting, fresh, potent, and overall another winner from the newest batches from Lucky. I've been very impressed with these new batches, and this one is no exception. It is one I would save for a workday or productivity, as I know I would not be able to sleep within 4-5 hours of taking this. I haven't tried blending with is yet, but I imagine you could slow it down enough with a red (my next experiment). If going purely for pain and mood, this would be your best bet from Lucky. If dealing with severe anxiety, I would probably move towards the green hulu. This squeezed out the extra quarter point for the long legs, as thats something I typically struggle with.

Do you mind if I ask what disease you took? I know everyone’s different but I’m just curious as I just got 6 strains of lucky new batch and green Malay is one of them!
