Mystic Island Vendor Review

I received my package from Mystic Island last Thursday. Since it was my first order with MI, I thought I would do a quick vendor review based on my experience as a first time patron.
First impressions
Maybe I have an inner flower child, because I really dig the New Age vibe. The products have really creative descriptions and names. I think it is a cool touch that sets them apart from the masses. I found it humorous and unique. It did not distract me from finding the right products or browsing and checking out.
Processing/Payment/Customer Service/Shipping
No hassles here. After checkout, prompt email confirmation and payment link. After completion of order, I had a question and sent an email, which was followed by a prompt and polite response from vendor. Shipping was super fast, which is very important to me.
Product/Packaging
There are plenty of reviews here and online for MI leaf, so I’ll skip details, and just say that Red Vampire is my new friend! My order included red V, Yellow Thai, and Super Green. I haven’t had a chance to evaluate those yet. But I will. I normally wouldn’t mention packaging, but here again this vendor goes that little extra to standout. The resealable brown paper bags with mermaid logo & cellophane window are very cool indeed.
Overall impression
Very satisfactory. I will be back.

Thanks for leaving a review! The Vampire is great! One of my favorite blends. Let me know what you think of the others. I don't believe I've tried the Yellow Thai or Super Green yet.

Hey E. The Vampire is staying in my rotation. Even my wife likes it, and she normally doesn’t care for kratom. I might have to hide it from her now...
The Super Green is excellent. It’s exactly what I want from green leaf. Very subtle, clear-headed, and just enough mood lift and analgesia to make it a good morning leaf for me.
The yellow Thai seems good too. I got it to blend with the heavy reds, and it works like a charm, so far. I mixed a small amount with red Bali and it had a nice boost. Normally good Bali is strictly pm usage only.
So I’m pleased with this purchase. My kratom cabinet is fully stocked now!

I also just received my first order from MI the other day (shipped with ludicrous speed.) The yellow thai is pretty amazing. However, the red Vietnam may be my new favorite strain! Can't wait to place my next, much bigger order later this week. Thanks MI!

Smooth, relaxing and very euphoric. Definitely not a daytime strain IMO. Made me sleep like a baby.

I was just putting together a MI order and was going to order Centaur, as it was one of the samples I liked. Do you happen to have the batch # of the one you felt was weaker? I got it in an order in July and it felt pretty solid to me.
Just tried mermaid last night... and wow it really took me by surprise. Felt like a mid-slow red but packed a serious punch. Strong body buzz... feels like itd be a good mixer too.

Can anyone recommend a daytime strain from this vendor good for pain?
I like the prices and it seems they in the US? Are we allowed to say? (new guy lol)
Thanks

I really like their yellow Thai for a daytime burn. I like it even better when blended with the red Bali. But that’s what works for me, esp for pain relief. I’ve only tried 4 of their strains, and they were all good for my needs. My hands down favorite is Vampire which is some sort of blend of mostly reds, I think. It was fine for a daytime burn, but I have a super high tolerance and tend to go for heavy reds, with a little green or white thrown in.
There are a few reviews of MI leaf on this board. Hopefully you’ll find the one that suits you.

Hey new guy! YES you're allowed to say. You're not on Reddit anymore, heh.
The few board rules we have are here; you can talk about pretty much anything you like
with the exception of vendor payment methods, and that's for the protection of the vendors.
Welcome!

I placed an order for red and green Vietnam, Ruby, & Peridot on Wednesday. Got the package Friday morning.
I am totally loving me some red Vietnam. I didn’t think anything could be as good as Vampire, but I was wrong. And you nailed it with your description, dez.
I woke up really early this morning and tried the green Vietnam. It is very, very good, as well. A little energy (could of been the strong black coffee) but it was very mellow. I’ll prob give Ruby a try this evening. I’m really impressed with the leaf I’ve been getting from MI. I’m starting to think that maybe there’s something to all that enchanted forest, mystical, new age, astrological stuff.

As we noted in your Mystic payment methods post, payment methods cannot be discussed as
vendors have had their payment processors reported and taken down. Thank you.

Hi Gravy, you should contact Mystic directly for more information regarding their payment processing. Here's more information about
why we can't discuss payment processing openly, and why it's
one of our very few board rules.
I'm sure you meant no harm, but please do contact Mystic directly for the information you're looking for. Thanks!

Sorry for always asking questions r making comments that are against the rules. I will read the rules more carefully.
I bought the vampire, Centaur and phatcracker. Phatcracker was amazing, very energetic with excellent mood boost and euphoria. Vampire wasnt as good but still very relaxing and euphoric. Centaur was well rounded with good overall nerve relaxing effects. I shoukd start trying these strains by the least populat first because its hard to tell how good something is once youve had the best strain already ya know
