Red Muna : TFH : Favorite pick from the open event!

I have been thinking long and hard about which offering I wanted to report in on most, from the recent experience graciously granted by TFH. I've reached conclusion that the signature experience I've had with Red Muna demands that I do my civic-kratomic-duty here!

Red Muna: MIR-4

A long time ago I got absolutely floored by a batch of Red Sumatra. Ever since, I always hoped I'd find a mood boost comparable to that. It was my only distinct "favorite" experience before finding the boards here and some well circulated names. Call it chasing the Kratomic dragon :D

Red Muna steals the show for me for the simple reason of exceeding so highly in the euphoria factor. It matches my ideal "Sumatra" experience in spades. My reasoning is not complex here. It's the zenith of "happy" from leaf for me with heavy heavy heavy weight to it.

Perhaps to elaborate I could say it is a distinct flavor of mood boost - almost what I would get from an energizing white but with all perks of a slow red in both onset and duration. And that is..
PAIN RELIEF: 10/10
RELAXATION/SEDATION : 8/10
SATISFIED IN BODY AND MIND (no more "want" of anything- this is a real factor for me): 10/10
DURATION: 4-6 hours from Tea no less. That is about the longest I can get from anything.

The Muna has a signature all it's own and a high roof. I've been enduring some for real agony and gone as high as 7-8g at a clip and the pain relief scales fantastically. NOT something I can always say about an strain.

OTHERS WORTH NOTING THUS FAR:
Jade Indo SSV: AD12 (mid duration and energy, high motivation) 9/10
Wild Crafted Gold (mid duration , mid-high energy, strong mood and elation) 9/10
30 Year Wild Green Hangat (well rounded and mild, low-mid energy boost, mind clarity, good working strain) 8/10
Red Elephant Hulu (great mood albeit not- talkitive, feels like an extremely slow green a bit, long lasting, exception pain relief)9/10
Sapphire Sunda (more uplifting and energizing that I had anticipated, steady and lasting optimism) 8/10
Deep Jungle White Aceh (highest caliber elation coupled with invincible energy, not normally a fan of whites) 8/10

Need More time with/ haven't had a fair chance to give trial to but on deck for the near future.. nothing better than having things to look forward to ;) Really, I genuinely can't put into words how stoked I am to open each one of these. Happy I ordered like a mad-man during the open as I'm seeing thus far, not a single one is a miss. I needed these in my life!!!
Deep Jungle Aceh
Mellow Yellow PMD
30 yr Wild Green
Deep Jungle Sula Red
Yellow Samarinda
30 Year Wild TFH
Deep Jungle Sula Red

This lovely little plant has given me my life back in many respects. It has enabled me to have some the best experiences I've managed in the last ten years.

That said, it is just as easy to have a bad experience with Kratom without guidance- and lord knows I had many of those when I first began my kratomic journey. Can't imagine anyone having a bad time with any TFH novelty but still- the Muna, amongst others, DEMAND one reports such calibre and quality.

Thank you for reading and contributing you're anecdote to the equation, friend. Hope the night proved Muna-Magical!!! That was my selection tonight blended with a bit of the wild red elephant hulu I had left- positively stellar :D

I got some of this exact strain still sealed, I was going to post a thread about it but I did a search instead...seeing this review makes me hesitate to open it. I want to, but if it's that good I almost look at it like a collector would. I think that it's vacuum packed has some effect on it, I don't want to break up the brick. I'll probably try to hold on to it for as long as I can now.

As soon as I opened it and tried it I ordered another while the open event was still running to keep sealed

I know JUST where you are coming from friend! Did the same thing with wild crafted gold too.

You can always buy your own mylar bags off Ebay and seal it up for the stash- there is thread going about that over on the general boards (I'd link but I am doing this via mobile whilst tending to 19 other things now... just search "mylar bag" on ebay and a plethora of options show up)

First time trying TFH leaf this past open event. Was very excited to get some leaf that I felt was "special" or above the smoke shop Kratom I was used to and it was. First strain I tried in my split kilo was the red muna it blew my mind had all around well being, mood boost, relaxation, clear head motivation. It was great for me, I've been rotating these four red muna, red pmd, 30 year wild green, and chocolate bent. These four strains are solid in my opinion. The red muna and red pmd are my favorite. 30 year is a great green and the bent definitely has the most relaxing effects out of the 4.

Looking forward to another open event soon to get more most likely will get red muna if the reviews say too but also look forward to trying new things from TFH.

Screw it, I'd love to keep my bag vacuum sealed but I gotta try this out if these reviews are accurate. Gotta find the perfect time to take it, is it really slow and sedating or does it have some up to it? Not sure if the best time would be evening or if it's more a knockout strain. Also, is it fermented, or what sort of color is it?

Definitely a sedating nighttime burn...

This one didn't really stand out to me after multiple burns. I definitely enjoyed the Opal Indo and some of the other samples better.
I'll try blending it with some other strains. It's definitely not bad, not trying to give off that impression, but I didn't get the same reaction as many folks in this thread. I'm still looking forward to his next event, whenever that ends up being....I'm sure he has some other strains that are "right" for me.
