First time TFH, first impressions

So my shipment came in today. First of all, the packaging is super simple and nice. I appreciate the informative labeling and the addition of the leaf being vacuum sealed. Had a pretty hard day at work and was moderately fatigued and tired. Decided to try the Wild Crafted Ivory Indo. First, the leaf has a pleasant aroma. I went with 2g mixed with a few ounces of OJ (my normal method) and down the hatch. Not much bitterness and somewhat pleasant taste. After about 15 mins I began to feel mentally relaxed. Half hour later I was off my couch and washing dishes in my kitchen, feeling clean and smooth balanced energy with a mild bit of happy giddyness. I felt chipper and pleasant and chatted with the wife and made some quick dinner. All in all first impression is fantastic. I’m a fan of a good moderate strain as well.
I just had 1.5 grams of wild crafted heavy red. Again, smells pleasant and looks nice to me. Taste was mild and smooth as well mixed with orange juice. Will update my experience with this strain and my others as I try them more. Glad I found this forum and I’m excited to be branching out and finding some quality leaf. Thanks Texas Family Harvest for sharing your leaf! :)

I received my package yesterday and first off let me say how amazing it is that from first email to it arriving in the mail was only 4 days. I put my order in and that night received my payment confirmation and the very next day it was in the mail. Bravo TFH hundreds of orders and only him and his wife as a crew. They must have some real good chemistry. Now second, the way it was vacuum sealed and that the kratom was so fresh it stuck to itself made me wanna order from them as much as possible, this is top shelf stuff. The first strain I tried was my emerald elephant. Good energy and a fat mood boost. I also have tried my rocket red but I didn’t get a good read on it because i only took 2g and my normal is 3-4g so yeah. When I get off work it’ll be 30 year old wild TFH, which I heard good things about. What strains did you get ?

I got : 100G 30year Wild White TFH- IRS12
100G Wild Crafted Ivory Indo- A62IR
100G 30 year Wild Yellow TFH- IR35
100G Wild Crafted Heavy Red - A6
100G 24K Indo

I’m going to burn the 30 year wild White today before work so hopefully it doesn’t clear the cobwebs too much lol! And yes I agree about the quality of TFH, regardless if the strains resonate with everyone’s chemistry or not. The way it “sticks” to itself to me says it’s nice and fresh and of good quality as well. I look forward to seeing how these continue to resonate.

I’ve read a couple of other people say the Ivory Indo didn’t do too much for them either. The nature of this plant I suppose as usual. I’m curious to see how it is after a few more doses and increasing the amount a little bit as well.

First impression is great. I’ve only had 2 doses thus far, but I really enjoyed the Wild Crafted Heavy Red last night at 1.5g dosage. Warm fuzzy well-being feeling then 45 mins later body felt heavy lol. Had an almost psychedelic edge to it as I was drifting off to sleep. I’m still a firm believer in Happy Hippo and their quality control and consistency, although they are far more expensive than a lot of vendors. But the 2 doses I’ve had from TFH is the first vendor I’ve had where the first impression has resonated with me and I can compare to HH.

I haven't tried ivory indo, but the "rich" strains don't do much for me either. Almost everything else they sell does though. 24k indo and emerald elephant were meh.

Stick around here long enough and those pink Hippo bags will be buried at the bottom of a rubbermade tote before ya know it!

Hopefully ivory indo mixes well. I had the wild crafted white elephant last night before bed and I was ready too partyyyy. Man that shit was FAST. Emerald elephant was a nice smooth green. I’ve also tried my rocket red but I couldn’t get a good read off of it but the weekend is here so I’ll try a couple mixers and see what happens.

I feel like I ordered the wrong strains lol! I’ve read Meh comments about Ivory Indo, 24K Indo (haven’t tried yet), and wild crafted yellow (just dosed). What do you mean by “rich” strains?

I haven’t tried any of those vendors you’ve listed. The only other vendor I’ve tried that’s mentioned on here was DG, and I found his product to be questionable in regards to purity. Strange effects.

Rich strains are the 24k's, ivory, emerald, sapphire, or anything named like that. And I gotta tell yeah that wild crafted yellow MD is a fan favorite including myself.... Might actually be my most favorite daytime yellow ever!!!

Don’t sweat it. Most everything on the TFH menu is fire. And in the case a strain isn’t working, you’ll have no problem swapping it out on Trading Post.

It just occurred to me that jade bali might be a rich strain. That stuff was awesome. So I guess I cant' just write off all the rich strains. A lot of people do like the wildcrafted yellow, I just wasn't one of them. If there was a type of effect you were looking for I might be able to make suggestions.

Hey Tree. So I’m thinking about putting together a split before this event ends. I like a nice faster strain in the mornings to start my day, but not so fast that it doesn’t have any of the feel good mood boost effects. I like a nice warm and fuzzy type red for the evenings as well but also a faster spectrum red for the day. I’ve yet to find a green from any vendor that resonates well with me! I want to find a green strain I like. So in a nutshell, I like strains that have good mood-boost, energy, and anxiety reduction. I use Kratom for overall well-being, I don’t have chronic pain or anything I’m trying to deal with. Any recommendations would be appreciated :)

Wild Harvest Indo is an energetic feel good red, as is the new wild crafted rocket red!!

I’ve been reading about that rocket red. Sounds nice. I don’t see the Wild Harvest Indo under reds, so must be unavailable now. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah looks like you're right Wild Harvest Indo must be OOS sorry!! Soooo the wild harvest yellow MD is almost the same exact burn IMHO another of my favorite daytime burns FYI.

I haven't had a chance to try most my new arrivals since I just received yesterday but took the wild harvest rocket red this morning for work and still feeling great! And last night I sampled the red horn reserve for bed.... VERY potent and sedating, warm, heavy pain control, BUT seemed like short legs like most horned strains I have come to find.

Cool! Yea I Got a sample of Yellow MD with my package that I had a little “touch-up” burn yesterday evening haha! Didn’t get the entire grasp. I will say the 30 Year Wild Crafted Yellow was a really nice moderate mellow evening burn for me yesterday. Heightened senses and just felt at ease overall. I think I might get 250 of rocket red in my split before this shindig ends :D

Potential split: Wild Crafted Rocket Red- A31
Wild white elephant or deep jungle white aceh
Wild Green Hulu Kapuas
And one more, either a nice balanced energetic white or another medium-fast red....

Wild Green Hulu Kapuas might be what you’re looking for. I love it. Solid warmth, mood lift and a little energy thrown in. A good “work” strain without the restlessness feeling.

Agree, the Wild Green Hulu Kapuas is a very well balanced green, the Emerald Elephant takes it up a notch in the energy department. :D

Still curious about the deep jungle white aceh

I got 24K indo as well. Haven’t gotten a full read on it yet. Mixed .6 grams of it with 2.2g 30 year wild crafted white I used the red bubble extract method with. First burn of the day and it was strong, almost over my threshold. Burned 1.5g 24K indo with 1g ivory Indo this afternoon and felt pretty dang good. From what I can tell this far they fall in the moderate spectrum as far as leaf speed goes. I had some mild mood boost this afternoon.

Judging by its taste and the almost bentuangie-like appearance, I didn’t expect much out of the 24k indo. It really kicked my butt on a 3rd burn - not drowsy for me at all, soo smooth. If you have it, for God’s sake, try it! :D (By itself) 8-)

This one sold out pretty fast - only 100g bags available now. I think there were a lot of fans of the 24k Bali that snatched it up pretty quickly! If you like it, you might want to try the Red Horn Reserve - many folks are reporting its similar in effects.
