Ahh Canopy,

Last year they were my go-to one of them.
My top 3 actually.
Along with Mystic and PM

I started using Liza’s early December, KOG late November, and Smiley late December and etc.

It just goes tk show times change our choices even if it doesnt seem that long ago!
I’m grateful for all Vendors Ive used in the past and now.

I do Miss Canopy though. I just have been so in the present moment with all these Other Vendors, with more consistent products, stock, etc.

Mystic Island? or another Mystic? And what's PM?

I placed a large Canopy order awhile back - samples of almost every strain - based on recommendations online, and so far, every single one was bunk for me. I still have a bunch just sitting in my closet.

KOG I bought a ton from. Most of it has been good. Never tried Smiley.

This is why Canopy was my goto (Last) year

Batches and even (maybe)* supplier are different now.

I TRIED to like Canopy, I really did...back when he was all the RAGE on REDDIT...Tons of people thought Canopy was the holy grail...I tried all the strains being raved about and NOTHING...
Very few if ANY leaf I got from there did anything for me. The owner (forget his name) was a real nice guy too. He swapped out a few zero result strains for me, sent me stuff he swore was good, and very popular...still nada...honestly was the only Vendor ever, where nothing he had worked for me...I still wonder why???...I have quite a bit of his leaf still stashed away...hoping one day it might work for me...one of the biggest mysteries I have had on my Kratom journey.

Same here. I remember I was so excited to get that order - and then nothing. I know it was probably just my chemistry because so many people were loving them, but I never tried them again.

Same thing happened for me with Socal in early 2018. Red Cambodian in January 2019 was the first strain i got from them that did anything for me.

They had a really good proprietary blend called Mitre Magic that was also very good and one of my first blends that made me feel like a kid again.

When have you guys tried Canopy and what strains did you burn to feel "Nothing"?

Nothing from them recently tho fyi. This was 2018 for me at least!

Canopys Red and Green JongKong was really good imo. Royal Bent, and Gold Bali were also fairly good.

Maybe try again tomorrow, soon? Ya never know the burn changes all the time!

I hit the "motherload" of bunk with Canopy early last year, buying up kratom cuz the FDA just labeled it an opioid.

2 good strains outta 12 was the Red Thai and green Hulu Kapuas though.

I tried Supergreen Jong Kong, gold MD, yellow Borneo, white Elephant, monster mash?......all nothing I got a little effects from Green M.D. but barely.

But you have to remember that it was very early 2018 and it wasn't only Canopy that acquired a shit load of bunk kratom, it was friggin EVERYWHERE!! NO effects, stale, impotent SHIT everywhere.

Placed a few orders in January from different vendors. Canopy was the one that I just really don't like. Gold Bali, Green Maeng Da, Green Malay and Red JongKong. First of all, the green strains look and smell exactly the same. The look is decent dark green but they all have a strong chemical scent that covers up the more earthy normal scent of kratom. The effects are pretty much all the same, racey, very un-relaxed with negative mood properties, I become irritable.

The Gold Bali is the closest thing to a decent strain, a bit lighter in color than the greens and not as much of the chemical smell although it is still there. I had some success mixing this one with strains from other vendors but wasn't the biggest fan of it on it's own. Brings in irritability but not quite as bad as the two green strains I got.

The Red JongKong is so dark and foul smelling I haven't even given it a shot. If it's some great surprise of a great kratom I am okay with missing out for now because I have too much good kratom to be wasting a day ingesting crap.

Anyway, been lurking for a while but I saw this post and knew I had to chime in. Waste of $90 for me.

Oh yeah, I got the Green Malay too, I didn't do crap!! I sold it to a guy at work who kept getting into my lunch bag at break

My one and only Canopy order was Green Borneo and Ketapang, Red Hulu, and Gold Bali. Ended up giving it to a very appreciative friend of mine. To him they were great.

I also have a few weak batches from Canopy from last year (Red Hulu namely). People had previously raved about Canopy so I believe I just happened to buy when the quality was going downhill across the board.

Also, Precious Mitre had a White Stem & Vein that was unlike any other strain I've ever had. It's likely not great for reducing tolerance as it's effects were more pronounced than many pure leaf strains, albeit it was certainly a different feeling. The S&V was a very relaxing strain, but it was relaxing in less of an opioid like way and somehow in some other way that was quite pleasant. Also anti-depressant but wouldn't say "euphoric". Anyway I still have some that I dip into on occasion. It would be lovely to be able to acquire this again but I'm not sure from where it was sourced.

I still have some as well. I noticed I haven’t been using Stem&Vein as much anymore...

I need to burn now so gunna add some of that White S & V .

Oh wow, I didn't even know they weren't around anymore! I loved canopy and motark. 2016 motark red bali was incredible. Canopy had fantastic reds as well. Good times

Gawd, Canopy was my #1 go-to vendor. Didn't even need to bother with anyone else. His variety & quality were mindblowing. I was in for a harsh awakening when I tried ordering from other vendors... actually had to taper off his stuff gradually. Very few have reached that level of potency for me. And he is such a nice dude. Sucks what the payment processors/gov't have done to him.

PM had some good stuff and decent prices.

Yeah sad to see Precious Mitre's site completely empty .. He was always part-time .. He would re-stock and everybody jumped, gone within a couple weeks, empty again the next 2 months. I think he did a half dozen re-stocks in 2017, and even less in 2018.

So... How much for a sealed 250g of his famous Magic Mitre, from early 2017 ?? Maybe I should Auction it on Ebay

I've been ordering from Canopy regularly and haven't been disappointed yet. My most recent order included Red Borneo which is hitting soooo nice!

I recently got out a bag of the Canopy box(under my bed) it's been sittin' there for a year untouched, I got out the green Hulu Kapuas, it was one of the batches that was good out of the Lot I bought.

I've been dosing that a couple days this week and it may be the strongest stuff I have at the moment!! I'm wondering if kratom actually does get stronger as it ages

I actually froze it overnight and was sitting on the couch and I hate to say this but I was WAXED!!!

Maybe I need to try some of this other old kratom I've had sitting around and try it out, I may not need to be buying more for a while?

i remember i ordered from canopy long time ago when it was popular on reddit, i ordered few random strains kilo, it was a downer, never ordered again. i understand i got lucked out without reading reviews but that was my bad. i am sure they had awesome strains based on reviews but its also good to keep in mind , always check reviews first if you dont want to take risks.

Yeah, most of what I got from them was lousy
Back then I didn't even know there was a kratom reddit, I could have avoided my huge tolerance problems if I weren't taking advice from some dude I was buying kratom from and just taking more when it wouldn't work I wish I could start all over but that ship has sailed

Bingo. This statement should be framed & posted on the Wall to remind us .. 1 Year ago when kratom went to shit!!

FACT: Canopy buys from the SAME suppliers, as K-OG, Liza's, RVA, Johnson's, etc etc. Yes! Many of the same suppliers!

Sure batches could be slightly different, but basically the same leaf.. Everyone had poor quality last year, including DG, you name it. Across the board, quality was "down" in 2018 following the Great Panic of November 2017 - when all US Vendors got wiped out. Yep.. and I'm not a Canopy customer, but I do know some of his suppliers... Alan is a good guy, nice website, low prices!

I picked one hell of a time for my "honeymoon phase" to end, I'd like to see more Canopy reviews up, they have some great prices and fast shipping from what I remember. I still got their red Thai under my bed I'm fixin to crack open!!

Hey, it's been a year, those duds may have sprouted!! Might as well try it and find out, I couldn't sleep to well selling bunk to someone for their hard earned cash, ain't no way I could be a vendor.

Yeah, I'm selling the whole doomsday stash. Canopy was well liked at the time and I bought many a split kilo...but went overboard. Hopefully I can find good homes for them, and my unruly large collection, or else I will need to rent a storage facility. For real.

I bought just about every strain from Canopy in late Feb of 2018 on recommendations from reddit, and every single thing they sent me was the most bunk shit I've ever had. I even had spent a bunch of time capping all of it. And every time I'd try a new strain from my shipment and it was bunk, I would get more and more angry. I can't even look at my Canopy stash anymore. I had to hide it from myself to try and forget it exists. 156 bucks down the toilet.

They still in business? Sounds like they had bunk for a long time last year.

Anybody go back to their bunk stash and find it had treated them any different? I haven't touched mine since last Summer.

But I can't find anyone since I ordered willing to say they got anything out of their leaf. I don't know whether to feel bad for Canopy - like their supplier sent them nothing but bunk and they were stuck with it, or if they knew they were selling bunk to people. Maybe everyone was publicly saying Canopy was good to keep the crowds away from their real favorite places, and I'm just a rube.

I got this exact Green Malay, no effects except nausea. I tried about 25g of it and I unfortunately bought a 250g bag.

ALL bunk. Literally nothing from all of them. Ended up getting 500g from SoCal and it was a great change. I have my first order from Mr Smiley coming so I can't wait for that.
