Recently Harry mentioned having some new strains-

A Green vein of Melawi
&
A Red vein of Bota

Has anyone tried either of these strains as of yet?
Or will be, aka placed an order for these magical batches?

I did just try to place an order for the Green Melawi but got a notice that Harry and Madison aren't taking any new orders at the moment.

I have both of those strains coming. I was pretty bummed to find out that Elite Elephant is no longer available, but Madison said that the Green Malawi is similar, so I went with that. Hoping to receive them early next week.

All I know is both batches lately are QUAL!TY.

I hear the GMelawi is very good as most others recently and a “mellow” type of Green!

Okay so i tried the Green Melawi today and it felt very pleasant!

A one of a kind burn
Just like the White Melawi

Such a mellow and beautiful

And all in all a strong joyful effect!

Awww yeah! Just got a response back today from Madison and I can now pay for my order and get it shipped out hopefully no later than next Friday.....or next, next Monday? Anyway, I did a LOT of lurking on here and perused through everyone's favorite recent KOG strains and finally settled on picking:

2 250g bags of white Melawi ( I love mixing red and white strains together and will hopefully be getting a kilo of those amazing red strains from kraydo's that InstantKARMA recommended to mix with)

1 250g bag o' green Melawi

1 250g bag o' yellow Bota that Payshince raved about!

I had an interview earlier today, went in for Round #2 with them
(Fingers crossed), and I was hoping for a
Motivational antidepressant type burn...
So,
I ended up Blending,

Green Bunut - 2.00g
&
Green Melawi - 1.50g

Wow
A new favorite for when going out and slightly Anxious and needing to be in a comfortable non foggy mood aka stature!
Green Bunut and Melawi are a wonderful combo

Anxiolytic = 9/10

Focus = 9/10

Mood = 8/10

Anti-Depressant = 8.5/10

Clarity = 8.5/10


I would recommend this for anyone who suffers from Depression and or Anxiety!

My normal dose is 3.5g and they were both being Green Veins
I decided no more no less just do my average amount and wow was I satisfied and I k!lled the !nterview!

If you're a regular customer, you can place an order. You'll still probably get the boomerang message, but Madison will email you to process your order once she confirms that you've ordered from them before.

Amazing pain relief but I feel like all of their reds are. I got a great mood boost from it too. Every strain from KOG is absolute amazingness

Forgot to say it’s a daytime red but I mix my reds with whites I mixed the Red Bota with white bota and it was great

Thanks Dawn! Sounds interesting. I have the green and yellow bota but haven't tried the red yet. So much good leaf around its tough to choose.

Just got KOG package in the mail today. Didn't think it would get here this fast but definitely hoped it would and......surprise. Badass leaf in the mailbox - I love how that happens, like a mini botanical Christmas that fuzzes your brain and lightens your mood.
Anyway, all I've tried so far is the green Melawi and it is excellent. I've never had a green that was more Red than some of the good reds I've had.
Fuzziness: 7

Painkilling: 10
Euphoria: 7
Anxiety: 10 (but I don't know if I can properly judge this one because I'm not a very anxious person)
Antidepressant: 9 (same thing here)

I did a 50/50 blend of Red Indo (3g) and Yellow Vietnam (3g).
I'm definitely doing this again.
I don't know if I fully understand "fast" vs "slow," but this didn't really ramp up until I ate about 20 min ago.
So, rn, I'm feeling really great. Warm and fuzzy. Relaxed.

Holy shit - this morning I tried the newest MD Ultra. I had a quarter kilo from a year ago, and also a sample from July. I just got this lot, and WOW. The other MD Ultra I have pales in comparison. I didn't take any potentiators, but I did "enhance" it a bit with a quarter gram of KOG Green extract. Generally, I find that taking it with grapefruit juice does more than adding a sprinkle of extract, but full disclosure anyway.

Pain - 8
Euphoria - 9
Mood - 8
Anxiety - 9
Focus - 8
Relaxation - 8

New batch of Supergreen, white JK, and elite elephant are excellent. And yes, this batch of Md Ultra is much better. No more red in it. Green Melawi covers that profile.

That K-OG green extract tho, how do you feel when you take that typically?
I wonder what strain(s) are in the Grn-Extract as well...
I rarely see talk about extracts but Ive def been meaning to grab some for awhile now.
Even if it is just for One night a week to sit back and unwind.

When it comes to Speeds for burns/ strains,
It is usually something along these lines...

Fast: Energy, FOCUS (my favorite), stimulatory, cleaning/ chores, etc

Slow: Sleepy, MELLOW (my favorite), chilll, sedative, cuddling, warm/ fuzzy, etc

I like Red Dragon (bought a year ago). I have Dark Coffee from last Summer, but don't think I would recommend it.

I in general have used Vietnam strains the least out of any strains or at least one of the least used...

I dont burn many Hulus either lol

I just don't think I understand what people mean when they say "fast" or "slow" so I didn't want to say. But it took like 2 to 2 and a half hours before the effects were in full swing. Maybe that means slow? I don't know. I seldom feel kratom right away.

So when you guys say "fast" and "slow" - you mean sedating or stimulating? Is that right? I feel pretty stupid now if that's the case.

Anyway - I take 6-7g every dose, so I rarely have a stimulating experience - typicallly sedating or mid - I think - maybe I'm wrong. I need to pay more attention to that. This one in particular was sedating.

With my most recent KOG order I got a sample of the yellow Vietnam and tried it out last night. BEST KOG strain I have ever had!! Excellent mood lift, good euphoria, and excellent on the pain killing front. Only drawback was that the burn only lasted about 3 hours....
Still, I will be snagging this one up as part 1 of a 4way split. Part 2 will be green Melawi, which I am also loving right now.....

Yeah, Dark Coffee is oven dried. Has a strong taste and smell due to the drying technique. Like a bent but not fermented. Certainly not for everyone but some really love it. The Red Dragon is a very nice fermented red. Good batch. A fermented version of the JK MD in my OG WMD

All extracts are made from jongkong leaf

The dark coffee I got smells like actual coffee and sort of weirds me out. I wouldn’t go so far as to suggest it’s adulterated, but I would be shocked if there was no coffee in it.

The KOG coffee sounds intriguing; wish i would have got a little of that. I cant get my mind around the concept "like a Bent but not fermented". I just ordered the Y Viet you guys were just referring to and looking forward to trying that. Along with the new Elite Elephant which i heard so much about, though I dont know what to expect. The OG White MD as well. Ive loved the W Malawi and the White Aur but I though I'd give this one a try. These are smooth energy balanced positive whites. And rounding out split with the Plantation Red, recommended by Madison in my quest for that classic green-red Bali buzz. With the sam end in mind I'm also look forward to trying the KOG Premium Red MD and Red Elephant which Harry has on order and I believe a couple weeks away.
