Mystic Island: Green Vietnam strain review

Hey guys. So, I'm relatively new to kratom, have read a lot about it on reddit and came over here b/c reddit's crackdown is unfortunate. Prior to a few days ago I've only used "Green Maeng Da" from my local head shop, which was great but $25 USD for 50g, which is totally outrageous. So I decided to order from Mystic Island and check it out. I ended up getting 500g of the Green Vietnam. I also have a sample of Vampire but have yet to try it because my tolerance is a little high and want to get it down before I have an experience with it. Anyways, here's the review.

Green Vietnam by Mystic Island Kratoms

[*] Energy - 6/10
The strain is only moderately energizing, however definitely enough to where it is a decent strain for any time in the day.
[*] Mood Lift- 9/10
Since I have not tried many strains in the past I left it at a 9, but the mood lift from this strain is amazing. Combine that with a bright sunny day and my mood is excellent. This is one of the big reasons I use Kratom, so it's definitely a plus to me.
[*] Anxiety Relief- 8/10
This will be great for you general anxiety and worries. It does not help greatly with social anxiety, but I imagine Kava would be a better application for this purpose. Definitely useful for general anxiety.

OVERALL RATING: 8/10
All in all, this strain is great. The only thing I wish it had more of was energy boost, but if you are looking for a medium speed relaxing green, this is a fantastic choice.

Notes and Side Effects;
I think this strain would be good for pain relief as it seems to be fairly opiate-like in its' effects. I don't suffer from much pain, though, so it's hard to tell. Also, the strain does seem to produce mild jitters for me, noticeable but not annoying. Itchiness is an issue, but not one that some diphenhydramine won't take care of. Also, I usually take doses of 5-8g twice a day. I would definitely recommend this strain and MI. Customer service was great, shipping fast, and quality is definitely up to par so far. (Not to mention the prices!) Peace out!

I've only used "Green Maeng Da" from my local head shop,
May I suggest, collect a few Sample Packs from multiple vendors.. you're gonna find a LOT better kratom, than head shop stuff! :D

Nice Review! Good info - more reviews in full color around here, would be cool! :!: Mystic is on my List, for sure.. prices are great.. Around a year ago I began ordering variety from many vendors and, pretty soon, within a few short months .. collected 100 different strains. Yeah OK, had a serious case of KBD (Kratom Buying Disorder), but it shore was fun! Thanks! :D

I like the green vietnam too, and I'm not really even much of a greens fan.

I had the same mood lift effect as you, and also a boost of energy.

Great review, thanks! Very colorful too, lol

Thanks for the review, I’ll definietly have to try that one out next time - for energy might I recommend trying one of their white blends, like Mystic Gandalf or Mystic Dragon. Definitely worth buying a few of their strains, also helps keep tolerance down a bit to switch out strains too. I bought 25g each of 9’different strains from Mystic and am beyond stoked with my huge collection of strains I’m quickly colecting!

BTW I love the colorful review approach! <3
