Why less love for RVA?

Richmond, VA = RVA aka Herbal RVA is a well-known company many of us started with. What I wanna know is why so many peeps don't talk about it so much. Jfish, the owner, is fairly active here, and he doesn't have a bad word to say. He was among the first to put test results and batch info on his bags, being attentive to the chatter going on. Excellent, responsive customer service. He came out with an extract which wasn't all crazy concentrated 7oh blow your tolerance to the moon, and sold it for a fair price. Jfish has a lot of batches, I guess it would be hard to pick, but if you ask him, he'd recommend a good one.

Just wanted to get that out there, having had a satisfying mix of HRVA green hulu 32625 and TFH white lightning: wm-az9, 2.5g each. Great mood boost, put some energy in me to walk my dog, even in this air cast I gotta wear a little longer for a broken ankle. Takes away the already minimal pain/itching and inflammation.

When it comes down to it, he's a genuinely nice person insofar as I've dealt with him, an unsung, personable member and vendor of our community.

Much aloha, bro, you might be on the east coast, but you have a friend all the way west in the middle of the Pacific.

Nothing wrong w RVA. The owner is nice and informative, but in my mind, they kinda keep below the horizon, in the backround. No loud sales or strain hype, no special drops. A couple of his strains are consistently good...

I need to place another order with them. They were my second go to after I dropped socal herbal remedies since they greatly raised their prices out of nowhere. I was looking through an old box from before I moved recently and there was a gold bag of leaf in there that im 99% sure is from RVA. I honestly forgot all about them but they are on my "soon to order from" list right now just for the memories :D Ive still seen good things about them so I am happy to hear they have kept up with their good quality!

Gotta mention though, try West Koast Botanicals! The owner is great, the powder is really fresh, and her greens right now are crazy good. Also WK whites are very popular, for good reason. Fair prices too. Def worth a shot if lookin for a new vendor..

Totally Agree! πŸ‘ J. Fish @ RVA, is one of the "original" OG vendors, that has Labs with Potency Test, for every strain... usually Murray Brown. Take the time, pick and choose, he's always got a few "High Mit" batches somewhere around 2.3% maybe 2.5% Total Alkaloids. - No he doesn't promote those.... just lets people discover 'em lol :ugeek: . Great guy and also, a Member here - has posted some very Inside Info, about the bizness.

I like rva I've been ordering for years from him. I still remember the green big bang that blew me away, still one of the best I've had. 2018 I think? I haven't ordered in awhile because I just check here to see what's good and I've been forgetting to go to his group.

Herbal RVA & Jonathan. I got banned from the Reddit Kratom sub because I posted a lot about how much I loved his PMD & how helpful he always was. That creep Reddit mod over there accused me of being paid to make those posts, which definitely wasn't true. I eventually stopped buying from him because there was a decline in quality. I very much appreciate e_poison creating this forum & freeing us from those tyrants over at Reddit.

I have consistently noted the high/higher mitra % on RVA Red Hulu and consider it one of their most potent and satisfying strains. It also has worked as a day red for me, which is lovely. Current RVA Red Hulu is 1.6, but I just like it because it's dang good.

Folks are really into this particular vendor I have never tried, so, a lot of posts on that.

I remember Jfish from way back in the Reddit days when we could talk openly about vendors. For a couple of years I was buying their Premium Maeng Da but just sort of forgot about them with all the other new vendors popping up. Definitely worth checking out again.

One time I got a batch of green hulu it made me and a few redditors probably 5 to 7 people ill and the way he handled it really made me turned off. This was 6-7 or 8 years ago. But his pmd was always stupid fire. I may have to revist rva and get a small bag of pmd . Bygone be bygones

I'm surprised, he's been really customer oriented every single time I dealt with him. Def. give him a second go round unless he was really being unprofessional. (imo). Hope your burn today is excellent, friend!

I agree, Jfish is well known for his amazing customer service. Not only has he been cool to me every time I've ordered since early 2018, but I have seen him extend the same courtesy to others through their facebook page time and time again. If an order goes missing, he will ask them to wait a reasonable time due to postal delays, but then he replaces the order without even requiring proof. If someone has an issue with a batch, he replaces it. Maybe the issue years ago caught him off guard. But he definitely has a reputation for trustworthy customer service and I've literally never seen any other vendor top him on this.

As far as the product, I've never really cared for their Reds, but I decided that after trying most of them a long time ago. So that may have changed. I almost never use Whites. The Green is where they shine for me. I've have gotten consistently good Greens and quite a few bangers over the years. They were the first vendors I really trusted to provide consistent product. I will admit I eventually moved on to a couple other small batch vendors for the most part, because my needs changed from greens for mild energy and euphoria to daytime reds for pain relief. But I will still duck into RVA and snatch up something that intrigues me every so often.

I was digging through my ancient strain drawer in the basement & found 2 unopened kilos of Herbal RVA's Premium Maeng Da from 2017. How I overlooked these kilos I have no idea, but that was easily in my top 5 strains of all time. It was like I found buried treasure. I tried my first dose in about 7 years about a week ago, 1.5g , & it felt like electricity was going through my skin. 6 hours later I dosed again & got a terrible case of wobbles. I switched to other strains for 6 days or so, then came back with the same 1.5g this morning. Wow... just wow. Blew my socks off. Definitely not a night-time strain, but neither is it like a white that makes you jittery. Yes it's euphoric, it makes you want to do projects even if they're mundane like trimming the hedges or cleaning all the sinks. It makes you want to move & accomplish things. And as if that wasn't enough, it's a great pain killer. It's going to be really hard to not use it every day.
