Hey all,

I'm new to this forum but I've been over on Reddit for a few years.

I'd like to know if anyone has tried RVAs PMD 2 ever or lately and/or anyone who knows how it compares to his old PMD?

I found a few posts indicating that some liked other strains more than PMD 2 but not much specifically about the strain.

The old PMD was a very heady and euphoric (almost speedy) red that I found enjoyable in the evening.

I've had a few reds from RVA in the past that were less than stellar, although almost every white I've tried has been great.

I have some from the summer, the 2 was even faster than 1. I believe they are both greens though.

Not sure why but I had assumed it was a red!

How do you like it?
Also do you feel it has good pain relief?
I do like speedy/euphoric strains from time to time but without much pain relief it wouldn't be much good for me

I ordered some PMD 2 and Royal Bent yesterday and should hopefully be getting it Wednesday so I'll let you know. But it's worth mentioning that I very rarely use whites/greens and generally am not a fan of them so YMMV in regards to what my assessment is. And yes as mentioned I believe they are greens.

Interesting, Herbal RVA might be responsible for the explosion of "Premium Maeng Da" aka PMD.

Summer 2017! the legend of RVA PMD really took off.. At a nice price of $64 per Kilo. Reviews were going crazy! And.. he's had some strong batches. Usually is Sold Out in just a matter of days.. To be fair, he's also had a few so-so.. even 1 crappy batch last year. Its generally considered a Green kratom product. Always green, never fermented or rusty colored.

His Original RVA PMD is from KC. Lots of initials there.. KC aka Kratom Crumbs, on the Indo Supplier List. A few other US vendors, have also stocked KC PMD! Now look on that list.. notice Big Bang. PMD #2 is from Big Bang.

At the same time.. other good Indo Suppliers.. Also began selling "PMD". Why? Because everybody wants it!! There are now at least FIVE different, top class Indos who carry PMD. Johnson's had the Nugroz variety I believe.. Nugroz PMD is excellent!!

I have PMD2, wanted to try it because PMD is my fav. I was disappointed.

Ahh yes, I just recently finished up some of the summer of 17' batch! Good stuff, although I have a Red Hulu from SoCal from sometime prior to then that I've been milking since I've yet to have any as euphoric and pain relieving.

Now it's all starting to come together for me...I didnt understand what the "Big Bang" strains were when they started to appear a little while ago. I thought it was some made up strain name by some vendors to get people to buy something they thought was new.

So are you saying that Kratom Crumbs still sells that PMD?

From what others are saying, the PMD 2 isn't what I'm looking for. Maybe I'll have to look into the Nugroz PMD.
Now that Johnson's is no longer operating, do you know of any others that sell theirs?

I was disappointed in the PMD2 also and TBH I haven't liked every batch of PMD I've gotten either. You can't beat RVA's prices and Jonathan's customer service is excellent.

Edited to add: The PMD2 I tried was from last April, iirc.

Be sure to mention which batch you are reviewing. Certain "strains" from batch to batch can vary dramatically. One PMD2 might be completely different from another. Luckily, Herbal-RVA includes batch numbers on each shipment.

I have a kilo on the way. I will do a review tomorrow.

Yeah his stock usually goes quick but everyone has been panic buying lately which doesn't help

I received my kilo of pmd2 on Wednesday. It's comparable to pmd from Botanical Bunny but maybe just a tad weaker. It's definitely a good strain. The effects last longer than most kratom which is one of the things I look for. It's more energetic than anything else. It's a good mood booster. Not sedating at all and the pain killing effects are about average for a green.

im pretty sure its the exact same stuff BB gets, pretty sure its VLNT sourced.

If it's the same as bb it's from kratom crumbs

I wonder how much he got in? It's all gone now. I ordered a quarter, the only PMD I have is one from December of 2017.

I got in an order for a kilo shortly after it was posted. It's my favorite by far. From now on I doubt I'll buy any more. I've now got my doomsday stash. My son was watching while I was moving my bags around & he said "My God, how much do you have?" A lot. I'm trying to surpass HH's collection.

I just placed my first order with Herbal RVA, can’t wait to try it. I ordered a split kilo, and used up two of the four slots for PMD. Not sure why, my kratom senses were just telling me it will be good. I did not see an option for PMD 2, but based on the few reviews I’ve read, PMD seems to be slightly favored. I also ordered a royal bent and RMD.
