Hi there-

I haven't seen anything written about the latest LoneStar drop, so just wanted to note what were a few highlights for me. My doses were all in the 2g range.

LS Green Bali - this was the fastest of the 6 new batches that comprised the drop, and if you're looking for a potent, Mid++ green, this one is terrific. It really smacked and even after the first hour of effects dimmed down a little, it gave me a nice, uplifting hum for around another 3 hours. Great stuff; all of Chris' Green Balis have hit really well for me over the last couple of years.

Wild Green Hulu Kapuas - this was definitely a much more squarely mid-spec green than the above. Potent, good mood boost and some pain relief, just an all-around really solid green; great for anytime of day.

Wild Red Kali - this was a mid-, very pleasant evening strain with some warmth to it (relaxing, but not sedating) that I should probably try at a higher dose; maybe go up .5-.75. Relaxing, potent and took some of the tension out of my neck and back that had accumulated over the day. A very solid, enjoyable red.

(heavenleaf) Dark Room Hulu Kapuas #3 - I know that this was written about in another thread, but I'll just add my 2 cents. This batch knocked my socks off. Chris described it as being "mid-upper spec" but for me, at 2g, I found it to be very squarely mid and actually somewhat relaxing, but POTENT AF and amazing for pain....it knocked my usual very cranky early morning back pain right out; amazing! Very strong kratom.

As usual, it was a total pleasure to deal with Chris; every experience I've had with him has always been great.

I would add that the Wild Green Hulu Kapuas that is reviewed here is one of the Heavenleaf strains that LoneStar is currently selling. There is also a Wild Red HK and White HK. I haven't tried them yet, but will later this week.

As far as the DRHK3 goes, I will go out on a limb and suggest that it is probably the best all-around Green I have had since 2019. I am somewhat of a low dose person, but to get the relief and satisfaction that I consistently get out of 2.5 gram doses over and over is quite a thing!

So, yes from the new drop there’s a wild red Kali and a wild white Hulu kapuas. I didn’t realize that the white and green Hulu kapuas were heavenleaf as well; I thought those were Chris’ (and yes, the wild red Kali is from the DR supplier as Chris says in his descriptions).

I got all three of those (along with the HL4) and yesterday made the White into capsules to take tonight, so perhaps I'll chime in with a review tomorrow.

Great. I’m curious to hear what you think of the white, KT. I’ve only tried it once (after a poor nights’ sleep, which is never good for me when it comes to feeling effects) and it didn’t really hit that well for me, so I know I need to try it again.

Chris probably told you the same thing he told me (something about how the white/green Hulu was even better than the Dark Room stuff) so I do have high hopes for both, but we'll see (based on what you wrote I'm now feeling a bit skeptical. But you never really do know).

Don't let my comment psych you out! Use your supreme mind control methods and put it out of your head altogether! My body chem can be weird sometimes (I'm still getting my head around the fact that everyone calls the DR#3 "fast" when for me it was anything but!)

And seriously, LSMS and TFH are my two all-time fave vendors and I have a feeling that the Wh HK is probably good. Chris(W) didn't say anything to me along those lines, but it sounds like he really had to work hard to get this drop done, so maybe he's feeling a little sensitive / protective of his own wares

At any rate, let us know what you think; I know you're a "whites for tennis" guy.....hope the WHK serves you well (no pun intended).

The wild white has actually been at the top of my list on this one. Wild red Kali definitely has that warm feeling for me. Need to order the drkrm3!

It's MUCH harder for me to evaluate my "tennis" kratom because I'm not taking it and then just sitting back - too many other things are going on for me to try and say "hey, how does this make me feel?"

All I can really say is that last night I played the best tennis I've played in four years after taking the White Hulu. I played SO well that the organizer of the matches texted me later and said, essentially, it was a pleasure to have been beaten by me, and that the "old" Mike Kelley was back and playing in the form he had known me able to play so long ago.

Now - a large part of that is my knee replacement, to be sure. But the kratom had to have *something* to do with that, in terms of energy and pain relief. How much I just can't say - I just know I felt SO alive and on top of my game it was a joy to experience it perhaps one more time before the end (as a realist I have to be aware my days of playing well are able to be counted, perhaps not on one hand, but certainly numbered).

At some point I'll try the White Hulu on a Disney visit, where I'll be better able to assess it (not nearly as much going on in terms of having to pay attention to things other than how I feel). But I consider last night a huge success and I suspect I'll always have a bit of fondness for this batch as a result (and I won't be using it again in my rotation for at least a few months).

On the other side of this - I took a TFH tester after tennis because I had beaten my body up so much. That's the price you pay for any hugely physical activity, and I knew it going in, and I was already aware this particular tester was the BEST pain relief red I had ever used. And it did not disappoint, letting me sleep soundly for six hours (that's how long it lasts). I pray this becomes available for purchase somewhere along the road.

Sounds good; really glad to hear you had that experience! And from what you and Gigi wrote (as well as what Chris said), I am psyched to check out the Wh. Kapuas again in a week or two!

Sometimes stuff from this particular farmer hits best on the 2nd or 3rd burn so don't be shy about trying it again sooner if you feel like it!
