BB Red Bent
First off let me say that Botanical Bunny has been my favorite vendor for over 6 months. Most of their strains have been above Average and exactly what I look for in Kratom. The exception for me being Red Bent. It taste awful even when I make tea out of it. If it was just the taste I would be ok with it. Kratom never taste good. It does very little for me and causes stomach pain. I've tried other fermented strains from BB, and other vendors and I loved them. BB's White Bent is absolutely amazing. I don't know if the Red Bent is just to fermented for me, but it's going to be sitting on its shelf for extreme emergencies.

Yeah, that's actually not the first time I've heard that kind of comment about a bent strain. Obviously you already know this, but "bentanguie" generally means it has been fermented as a part of the curing process, and some people have a reaction to whatever the fermentation introduces to the leaf, which can be slightly different with every strain, even every batch. Some people can't take bents at all, and others are like you where some are great and some are absolutely not.
Easy fix: trade it off for something you might like better. Just be honest when you put it up for trade and say that it didn't agree with you and what the symptoms were, so the person who trades with you knows what they're getting. Full disclosure and you won't have any problems.
Thanks for the review!

Re: BB Red Bent
I had gotten a little bit of this from a recent batch and it is indeed a REAL Bent (IMO). Dark brick red, with a pungent "fermented" taste AND smell. I usually love these "dank" fully fermented batches. This is from VLNT and their Bentaungie's are the real "fully fermented" deal. Some leaf that's called a Bent is just badly cured (dried) and/or mishandled leaf. I really believe some leaf that is called Bentaungie is just old browned leaves, maybe even fallen leaves picked up off the ground that are already brown and musty from the jungle floor. (just my opinion)...This one did not cause any issues for ME, but was not as potent as some previous batches. I was disappointed in this particular batch? (was from Mid August).
