The 7-OHM content of raw powder - doesn't really matter since it's not enough to have any effect at normal kratom doses. It's only a Trace amount. Yes 7-OHM does play a role in kratom's effects... from mitragynine being metabolized to 7-OHM when taken orally... Science research of Kruegel, Grundmann, McCurdy etc over past couple of years.

The new batch of Red Bali (51322) seems very mediocre to me. I'm inclined to believe it's not as potent as the previous batch that everyone was hyping up, but I didn't try that batch. Hopefully RVA releases the data sheet on this new batch so we can see. Since there was no data on the newer batch I knew I was taking a chance. And I'm glad I only got 250g of it and filled the rest of the 4-way split with the PMD2.
Please report if the new Red Bali is effective for you. I am just giving my anecdotal experience. Kelleytoons said it worked great for him but he's not 100% sure he got the new batch.
The PMD2 is fantastic and I would highly recommend it. I will probably be mixing small amounts of the Red Bali into the PMD2 just to use it up.
TLDR: New Red Bali = 6/10. PMD2 = 10/10.
Yes, I really, really love the Red Bali and didn't get that much from the PMD2. I think it points out that it's a mysterious, personal chemistry at work...like I would have literally given the PMD2 a 6/10 and the Red Bali 10/10. I am wondering if the PMD (without the 2) would have hit me better.
But I'm living this Red Bali. Would love to hear other reviews of RVA strains of current....
Yeah, Kratom definitely can be subjective. I wouldn't be surprised if the labs came back on the Bali and it was as potent as the previous batch but it's not very effective for me. The current batch of PMD1 has more mitra but less 7OH mitra and from the study that I read, the 7OH is more important in regards to opioid analgesic effects (pain killing).
Kenmasters-- I take back what I said actually about the PMD2. It took me a few times, but I love it now. It isn't as strong far as the Red Bali's analgesic and anxiolytic properties are concerned, but the PMD2 is like a light, big bag of sunshine. I'm happy I got these two since I'm joke as a broke / broke as a joke and RVA let me make a couple of purchases that were stellar. I went on the rec of this thread and BALLZ.

Same here. A Ballz rec has become an instant purchase for me, the best advertising you can get. Enjoying my RVA thanks to Ballz and of course the team at Herbal RVA.
We have super green 2 coming online tonight. Tested at 1.86% and has a great light green color. Ive personally only tested this twice, once this morning and mid day. I think its good and for sure worth a buy but it might not be a holy fire kinda of thing further research needed for that tag.
Our test results for the new batch of red bali came back at 1.46%? i think. It will be online tonight too. I dont personally test reds so i have no clue but this red bali looks like how it used to look color and consistency wise as it did in years ago batches. Light color red is what I call it. Where its pale but not the pale color. Its the good red color.
We have some more small batch stuff coming in from two suppliers that passed the first round of testing on a sample size order. We should have product and lab results back within the next 4-6 weeks.

Ordered the Green Big Bang from last month and the new Super Green 2 today. You have been killin’ it lately man.
I ordered regularly from RVA for a while in '18/'19, but stopped when I felt like there was a decline in quality. could have just been me. some of these reviews make it seem like they're really good again, so I may grab a few 100g bags to test the waters. I always had great experiences with payment and shipping with RVA, not to mention their incredible prices.
I haven't tried anything else they sell but I still think that red of theirs I took was the absolute best Kratom I've ever had - I've taken it twice more (once when I was desperate for some pain relief) and each time it has wowed me.

Fantastic. Both are hard hitters for energy and moodlift.
Powder is also gorgeous on both. Got another split in today, will leave reviews. I grabbed extra of the SG2

Nice. Would you say the SG2 is better than the Big Bang? I got both but haven't tried them yet. I will probably order more of which ever is better though.

Hard to say which is better per se, but the SG2 tested a little higher MIT
Though I don't use greens, I am always up to a PMD. It is like the exception for me. I got PMD 2 and liked it, but what do you guys think about the RVA reg PMD with the higher Mitra? I liked PMD2, but didn't love it...not like the Red Bali...

Yeah, I believe it's too late, what makes it even more maddening is I placed my first order when they had it. I did get both PMD's but didn't discern much difference. Need to do a more specific test.
The Herbal RVA Red Bali still holds the place as my #1 Kratom out of the hundreds of strains I've bought. I was lucky enough to buy 500 grams so I'll have enough to last me my own lifetime.
You can always check with them to see, though - they might have a bit more left. It's worth the effort.
I've been going through a new order and the PMD1 and Big Bang are both excellent; Highly recommended. The PMD2 I haven't opened but I believe it's the same batch I ordered before which was great.
The Super Green 2 seems to make me nauseous. I took 5g, 4g, and then 2.5g on different days to see if it was a dosage issue and every time I'm feeling sick within 1 hour. It could just be my personal chemistry with the batch and there is nothing wrong with it. Also, the mitra content does seem to be decent but it's just accompanied with the nausea.
Please let us know if you've tried the Super Green 2 and your experience with it.

It was announced on Facebook Group a few days ago - the recent RVA Super Green 2 "High Mit" 1.85% batch... is Sold Out.
Unless there's an update yesterday or a Re-stock of the same batch - It got grabbed up & cherry picked -- Reviews are excellent. Maybe you had a bad day or ?? Wobbles and nausea are often a sign of over consumption/ strong batch ? There's been many reviews... didn't hear of anyone else complaining... It's gone now anyway ? Good kratom goes Fast

If everyone is praising it after trying then it's probably just me. He did tell me it was the 1.8% before I bought it. I sort of ruled out over consumption because 2.5g is almost 1/3 of my normal dose and it's not nearly 3x more concentrated. But it could also be a higher concentration of a number of other alkaloids that warrants a lower dose too.
But like I said, I could definitely tell the mitra concentration was decent. I guess I'll try around 1g tomorrow.

Great question, in order to look for it on Trading Post. All I know is it's the 1.6+ mit batch prior to the current one.
Batch number is 51322, I do believe (that's the number on the bag I bought about three weeks ago of the Red Bail, right after my first order was so tremendous)

The problem with parting with some of that stuff is that it's mostly (all of it?) in pill form. I'm actually pretty sure it IS all in pill form. So while I wouldn't mind parting with some, most folks don't like it that way (me, that's the only way I can take it so it's usually the first thing I do and when this thread came up and I looked up the bag I went ahead and made it all into pills. I could look but I'm almost positive I ended up with ZERO powder left over - for me that's a perfect win but it doesn't always happen depending on how the powder is packed into the pills and if the vendors may not have measured it out perfectly.
If you had asked me only TWO days ago I might have saved some out. Sigh.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a machine that you use for pill filling? Believe it or not, but I've never consumed Kratom via pill. Just powder and tea. But I know its widely popular.
I use "Capsule-IT" (you can look it up on the web, sold by a few folks here and there but I've always bought direct from them). It's a "device" rather than a "machine" in the strict sense of the word (in which YOU are the engine). But I can make 400 capsules an hour and it's actually pretty relaxing (I'm guessing it would be like knitting is for some folks). I just put a movie on in the kitchen and make pills and soon a few hours have gone by and I have many hundreds (it's almost second nature to me know).

I make 00 capsules - these are about the biggest a human can digest (there are larger ones but they are mostly for animals).
They will hold around .5 of a gram of powder (the total capsule weight is around .6, including the capsule itself). I will be sending you some samples soon (I promise).
I also have machines for doing both 0 and 1 capsule sizes (which are smaller - it's kind of odd but the higher the number the smaller the capsule). But my wife can't even take the 1 size capsule so I never use those machines anymore.
I have a bunch of 000 capsules and had a 000 machine I returned to Amazon because I kept putting off learning it, probably should've kept it, they're harder to find and pricier now. I don't think the 000 "jumbo" size is too big at all! If I did go the capsule route it'd definitely be those but luckily the oblate pouches worked out for me.
Amazon stopped selling ALL their capsule machines about a year ago - folks on the web noticed it and remarked it might have been some sort of corporate decision.
In any case, you're right about the price - it's gone up dramatically (around 25%). But then again, most everything has. But the machines themselves are fairly easy to find direct from the Capsule-IT source (they are nearly always available).

I picked up the 8/25 Red Bali and it was pretty solid and on the slower side.9
I had to reevaluate my last rva purchase. the green buntok ended up being a miss after the first try, literally getting nothing from it now. also no luck with pmd 1.
by far the best was the april pmd 2 which is super fast, would be the only one I'd classify as "can't miss" (although there really isn't such a thing, no strain hits 100% of the time for everyone. both the super green 2 and green vietnam were relatively decent. I'm willing to bet that batch of pmd 2 is gone now, but maybe the next/newest one is good too.

yeah apparently I'm not the only one either, I've seen a fair number of people who say it didn't work for them either. but a lot of people that say it did. so one of those tossups I suppose. my batch was 9/20/22, wonder if that's still the current batch.
Interesting. That does seem to be the most recent batch. There was a Super Green batch with like 1.6% mitra a few months back that everyone was hyping up. I had already purchased some and thought it was very weak and actually caused some nausea. I'll let you know how the Buntok works out for me.
