TFH Wild Super Green Sumpur M5-KIN

Post by Greyfeather »

Another sample from Texas Family Harvest that I should have tested and reviewed sooner. Better late than never?

Anyone who knows me knows that I love my reds. I reviewed a White from TFH last week and really loved it. This time it's a Green and I'm still extremely new to these. I have only tried a green from one other vendor: Green Malay from Mitraman. It was a solid low to mid spec with a nice reliable mood lift.

The Wild Super Green Sumpur from TFH was, for me, a high spec Powerhouse. I figured I would be fine with 2 grams to start with. It has been 12 hours and I'm still feeling it. About a half hour after my serving I started to MOVE and I kept moving: a couple trips out to get necessities, couple loads of laundry, helped my Guy with yard work. Sitting still was difficult and my mind was buzzing. Really, the energy from this leaf is outstanding. I thought about the days I used to racewalk 5 miles a day, maybe do some lifting or some intense aerobic workouts... this would have been perfect for that. It has been awhile so I would hurt myself if I tried it suddenly now. But for those of you who have work-out or lifting routines, this would be a great complement, I think. Basically, I took too much for the first time. A third of that serving should have been the starting place but I'm used to a 2 gram serving of all of my reds. I had to add a red later because the analgesic effects weren't quite enough, but then my pain has been unusually severe. I think the green would have been sufficient most days. And, again, since I took too much my mood was also over the top. I was impatient with my Guy all day: he wasn't moving fast enough or thinking quickly enough. I figured this out pretty early on and just kept my distance. So, for those of you who love greens, I would definitely recommend some of this in your stash for those days when you need something potent. I have had this sample in my "to do" box for quite a while, so I'm guessing it just gets better with time

After reading my own review it occurred to me that when referring to my emotional response to this strain, I may come across as criticizing those effects.

I had a much smaller serving of the TFH Wild Super Green Sumpur this morning (balanced with a red) and was quite focused and easygoing without sacrificing the excellent energetic effects. My first time around with this green I was really overstimulated, having taken too much. As with all of the TFH products I have sampled the general feeling is that this product is such a "clean" source of premium energy (or pain relief, etc). There are none of those 'dusty' undertones. TFH leaf feels 'efficient', as though there is nothing wasted (if that makes any sense). The kratom I get from some vendors may do the job, but it doesn't always feel like I'm doing something good or healthy for myself. This leaf does.

When it comes to Greens I'm still in the "courtship" phase . I don't know what to expect - everything is Big and heightened! This green is simply is a very potent, clean and stimulating green ;)

I also felt Horny :o

“Dusty undertone” I like that description. I know what you’re talking about as well. There are some vendors and batches I feel the exact same about. I just tapped into my Wild Green Sumpur myself, not the super green though. I’ve noticed, unless I’m missing something, they have the same batch code. I’m wondering what the difference is? The Wild Green Sumpur I have has a similar effect you described for the Super, but not that intense haha. Thanks for the input. I also agree Chris’ leaf from TFH is completely on another level, not always the most “in your face” with every strain, but you can tell it is processed in a very nice way.

Reviewing is really a challenge, so I very much appreciate the feedback :D . And I get confused by some of the code numbers also. Once I ended up with something mislabeled, but a quick e-mail sorted everything out.

I sort of worry about sounding too enthusiastic when it comes to TFH, but it is what it is. I have never seen a business model quite like theirs. I just want to grab all of the Jeff Bezos in the world by the collar, give them a shake and holler "This is how you treat people!"

Enjoy the Big Event!

Just finished a quick "toss 'n wash" of this strain and was delighted to find your fine review. What a nice coincidence. I wish I was more disciplined in being able to formulate such a useful write up; enjoyed the read. At best I've taken to keeping a modest journal to help with my strain rotation. It's only been twenty minutes but I'm starting to be aware of the Green's presence.

I’m a fast green kinda guy. This is the most underrated tfh green. Favorite strain I’ve had in over a year. By now I’ve bought over 2 kilos of it. Hope he has it forever

You are way too kind, gpschaef :) I've gotta start keeping a journal too; it's a great idea. After so many different 'flavors' I have trouble remembering why exactly I loved something. Then someone asks me why I like it and I draw a blank

Damn it Greyfeather, now I have to go order another one lol. That just sounds too good. I've found a use for essentially all types of kratom, but I'm partial to energetic greens. Thanks for the review!!

Man this is another one of TFH that for whatever reason doesn’t do anything for me. Don’t get me wrong I have MANY strains of his that are AMAZING but I have quite a few that have been consensus hits it seems with folks here that don’t do anything for me from this one to Jade Bali and a few others. With that said if anyone is looking to trade shoot me a PM because I have a plethora of 250g bags that I tinkered with dosage many times and couldn’t get anything from them

I'm glad you replied and I'm sorry it didn't work for you. Yeah, absolutely, it's important to keep in mind that kratom isn't "One Size Fits All." There are a few vendors here that people really love, but I just can't get even a marginal response from their leaf. The disappointment is REAL, isn't it?

I hope people take you up on your offer. TFH is having its big Open Even here right now and offers bags of kratom as small as 100g, so you might have more success later. But who knows? It will always be valuable. Now Or later, you are sure to find some takers :D

Thanks for participating, nerdy!
