More “Best of Liza’s Best” (reds first)
It’s been awhile since I’ve done any reviews for Liza’s. I’m overdue on reviews for reds. I had some other threads with the ones that were most impressive but I haven’t posted in a long time. There’s plenty of new strains and batches to review so I’ll be doing it here! A few weeks ago I noticed some new reds on the menu so my wife and I were both very excited to try them! I always add a sample pack with each split kilo that I order. The most recent reds that I’ve had from Liza were Red Vein, OG Red Indo, Red Jungle and Red House. I’m pleased to say that all 4 of these were fire! It’s tough to choose a favorite but I’ll give you guys a short breakdown of each one below.
Red Vein: I’m starting with this one because it was definitely one of the fastest feeling reds that I’ve had. This kratom is fresh and invigorating. Liza’s Red Vein isn’t what I think of when looking for a traditional red, but it’s still awesome. My wife and I use greens the most. I always keep a few whites and at least two reds on hand at all times. Even though it’s “red” vein, I’d categorize this one as a green. This is a true “green-red”, if you guys understand what I’m taking about. This kratom is FRESH. It has a beautiful light-green hue and appears to be fully indoor dried. If you’re into “green” reds, this one is your pick. It’s great for anytie of the day and gives you some extra kick when you need it. I often avoid reds in the morning but this truly is one that is great for anytime of day. The Red Vein that Liza has right now is kind-of in a category of it’s own. It’s pretty much the ultimate “Green Red”
Both the OG Red Indo and the Red Jungle are more of what I look for with reds. They both have a nice “medium” feel and are both very potent. It’s tough to decide which I like better, but I am already debating which to add to my next split kilo as my red choice.
OG Red Indo: This is another “green red” but a very balanced and nice batch of kratom! If I were rating on fast, medium or slow, this one comes in at a “medium-fast”. My wife liked this one the best out of the most recent reds but it really is tough since theyre all so good! This one is a great “hybrid” type red. It’s lighter and a bit faster than some of the “red reds”.
Red Jungle: Another awesome one with great pain relief and possibly more euphoria than the OG Red Indo but overall this is very close in looks, taste and effects compared to the OG. Rather than “medium-fast”, this one is a solid “medium” in speed. I change my mind every other week as to whether I prefer faster reds or mid-tier. Either way, this one is nice and leans more towards what I’d expect from a great red! The Red Vein and OG Red Indo are also both potent and outstanding but are more a bit more “green” as far as taste and effects go.
Red House: I’m not sure if this is a blend of some of Liza’s other reds or it’s own batch. Regardless, this one is slow! It has a darker color and a bit more of the “red” flavor. I dont think that this is new but it’s something that I wasn’t very familiar with. For anyone who is interested in the darker/sun dried reds, this one is a winner, for sure! I’ll actually put this in a category all by itself when comparing to the other reds in this post. There aren’t a lot of kratom strains/varieites/blends that are sedating fro me but Liza’s Red House is one of them! I have really bad lower back issues and I do find that some of the dark reds from Liza work a bit better on the pain. This one is a gem for pain and also something that I’d recommend more for nighttime use. I was having a bad pain day recently and I decded to use this for my normal afternoon dose (usually a green or white). The Red House knocked my socks off! I dont use a lot of the daark and sedating varieties as often as I used to but this is one that I’m going to stock strictly for the evenings or on the occasion that I need some kratom before bed. The single time that I used this one during the day, the pain melted away, I felt absolutely amazing and “heady” but it also made me very, very tired! I used the last of my ounce of Red House a few nights ago and it aided in helping me to fall asleep. This is one of those reds that has a strong "anti-anxiety medication” feel to it. I think I took a bit too much for datime use as I had a difficult time concentrating on my work that day and needed to take a nap for the first time in about a year. This is one that I’ll be alternating with Liza’s Red Elephant and Red Chocolate…. a dark, evening, sedating, “red red”.
Overall these were all absolutely amazing and I wasnt let down by any of them! For my purposes, I’d say that its a tie between OG Red Indo and Red Jungle for my favorite out of this group. I frequently order Liza’s Super Red MD, Red Dragon and Super Red. If you’re familiar and like any of these “medium” reds then you’ll love the OG Indo and Red Jungle.
If you’re looking for a true “green-red” that is close to the taste and effects of traditional greens, the simply named “Red Vein” is awesome.
The Red House is slow and euphoric, just makes me a bit too groggy for daytime use. Most kratom is stimulating to me but the Red House is one of the few that has actually made me sleepy with one of my first doses of the day.
I tend to be a bit wordy, so I tried to keep it more concise this time around…lol! I hope this helps! Let me know what you guys think! I’m always curious to see how much you guys agree (or disagree) with me and it makes me feel amazing when I find out that I helped anyone find something new that they love. I’m still working my way through Liza’s giant menu!

I'm currently wanting to make a purchase from Liza's but pretty clueless as to which strains to grab. I'm a green girl w/ desired effects of great daytime motivation & ultimate mood boost/euphoria. Do you have any green or even white recommendations from what's on the current menu?Renob wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2023 2:26 pm It’s been awhile since I’ve done any reviews for Liza’s. Also, thanks for the review on the Red House. I'll definitely grab that if it's still available as I like to have a sedating red on hand to aid in falling asleep when needed.
But like I said, if u have any favorites in the motivating/excellent mood enhancement department... I'm all ears!

Greens are by far my favorite! I find the greens to be the most potent, overall. I mainly need kratom during the day so green and white (especially greens) are my go-to! Liza has so many good ones. I’ve been reordering the same bunch for awhile and we’re always pleased!NLK316 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2023 11:39 pmI'm currently wanting to make a purchase from Liza's but pretty clueless as to which strains to grab. -Super Green Elephant
-Green Nanga
-Green Hulu
-Super Green Pucuk
-PMD
These have all been hitters for me! Also, Liza recently had a new Green Pucuk and a Super Green JongKong that were both great! The JongKong is fast.
My favorite whites have been
-White Panther
-White Tangjung
-White Slippery Rock
-White Ketapang
Most of my split kilos are 2-3 greens and a white or two. I order every couple of weeks

Also, thanks for the review on the Red House. I'll definitely grab that if it's still available as I like to have a sedating red on hand to aid in falling asleep when needed.
But like I said, if u have any favorites in the motivating/excellent mood enhancement department... I'm all ears!
