Will there be Avatars or custom pictures available?

You have to do your own avatar, it can be no larger than 90x90

I do believe we can give you a signature. And I don't think there is flair, e_poison will have to remark on that one.

There are avatars and signatures, both available from the user control panel. There is no flair/voting system as of right now, but we will be adding one soon.

Also, avatars/sigs don't show up on the mobile version of the site. Unless there's a huge demand for that, I think I'll keep them a desktop only feature for the time being.

I don't think it will be a huge deal since reddit didn't have it, i'm just grateful to have custom profile pics, the plain fact that i can have a signature is beyond awesome. So happy you made this forum E, its awesome and im glad to be here, i think it's even better than Reddit's layout, and we can play by our own rules here and say what we like about kratom.

Awesome, are their any limits to size of Sigs and what can be put in them? i know on my MK forums i own, we had to limit the amount of data placed into each sig since the domaine is only allotted X amount of space, since each post has sig's, that adds up to a very large amount of space allocated and used when allowing any size signature...

Do you have a Karma system in mind, i used one on my old forum that i passed over to others a while back. if you don't have one at the moment i could look it up and pass it on to ya. if you have one nevermind, your is probably better anyways. I eagerly anticipate the coming Upvote/Downvote and Flair system.

Signatures are currently limited to 255 characters. And only one link allowed per sig. We have other things we can limit if we need to.

Also, no images in signatures. It's a huge drain on the server loading them in people's sig every time the page/post is queried. Trying to keep the site optimized for speed.

Just a weird thing I noticed, avatars load on mobile when in landscape mode. Not sure if this is intentional or not, just thought I'd let ya know. Using chrome on an android device.

Do they look okay? On some mobile devices they may show depending on the pixel width of the browser.

i was actually wondering about that very thing... i am one who loves to have pictures in sigs, maybe a very small pic can be allowed for top contributors or maybe subscribing members? but i understand if not, as it does stack up. There are so many things on other forums we could adopt having the platform available.

maybe adding mood choosers, larger sigs, private subscriber forums, the options are endless.
