My comment suggestion: there are many posts from reddit that could just be copied&pasted
could even be a " Reddit " page where others can post their favs from the past
ie making tea or the infamous vendor daily list or something that has been hashed over & over

Hey there! We are working on a way to get old reddit posts over here, especially the reviews, lists, and recipes. It'll take some time though as there's not really an easy or convenient way to do it.

We will also be posting the vendor lists for sure!

As for the Friday open discussion thread, that will be run here going forward every friday afternoon.

Yeah i wish we knew reddit was gonna go dictator before hand, so many had vendor reviews and great content that could have been transferred but now lost.

We may be able to save at least some of them out of the mod log I think. It's being looked in to.

Thats good, I can transfer some of mine over here if ya like.

The only thing that concerns me about bringing reviews over is that posting new ones will supersede the new ones here and will actually be older reviews on older strains. And as we all know strains aren't totally consistent from batch to batch, people are going to want to know about newer batches not 2 month old batches.

That would be awesome, even if the older reviews are just for reference and archiving. I’m going to do the same with all my reviews from the old sub as well.

Also, that guide you were working on. Are you interested in moving it here as a permanent sticky thread?

hey how do i change the alerts for messages? im not getting notifications for messages ive been going into user cp and looking at previous posts to find replies manually. im sure there is an easier way just not finding it? Also how do i Tag users on here, i imagine it has something to do with brackets but im sure its not # or @

True about Strain reviews... BUT for Vendor reviews, reddit still has years of valuable data!! r/kratom has only removed 1 month. So even though they banned me... I am so glad they took action to preserve everything. The Community needs this resource.

The Search may be linked. It's all still there... For example, recent news about a vendor selling Salmonella tainted product. Is this vendor any good? Search on Kraken

I wonder if we should have a separate area for FAQS? How many stickies can we stack? After too many and seeing them every time entering a forum I'd get annoyed.
