I've written up an "Interests" section for my profile, just talking a little bit about me and my experiences, etc... However, whenever I save it, it disappears. It also doesn't appear on the profile page no matter how many times I copy-paste-submit-refresh on the page.

Just a quick troubleshoot, what browser are you using? Also, have you tried logging out from the site completely, clearing your browser cache, then logging back in?

I am using the latest version of Firefox. I will try in Chrome and ... as much as it pains me, MS Edge

I have not tried clearing cache. I will try that now and report back. Thanks.

EDIT: It appears that there is an unmentioned character limit. I just noticed jammed in between a couple of lines at the top of the page it says "The interests you entered is too long." https://gyazo.com/b5317798d7c0b98ae6812f0be8e1f98e I've slimmed it down to about a 1/4 of what it was to start with and now it's accepting it.

I don't even know how to edit my profile. I'm a techie, too. Also, how do you earn Kratomite?

To edit your profile, click the 'user control panel' button in the top left. On the page it brings you to, there is a dropdown box where you can bring up the edit profile page (among lots of other options).

You get the title "Kratomite" after 5 posts, plus additional access to PMs and such.
